Camp New Hope provides an outdoor, over-night, group leisure experience for 48 children and adolescents ages 9-17 with bipolar disorder. It is critical to the success of Camp New Hope that each camper meets our camp criteria. Please review our extensive criteria prior to submitting a recommendation for your son/daughter.
Camp is expected to fill to capacity. We will begin accepting applications for campers on 1 January 2008. If you feel your son/daughter meets criteria to attend camp please download our Summer 2008 camper recommendation in January and submit it before 1 March to reserve a space.
Members of the camp advisory committee will review all submitted recommendation forms and notify you by mail on or before April 1, 2008 regarding acceptance to camp for our Summer 2008 session.
Please note that your child's attendance at Camp New Hope will require submitting within a specified timeframe signed statements from both their treating psychiatrist and their pediatrician, and completing lengthy questionnaires and release forms.
The fee to attend camp is $100 per camper, which covers all meals, lodging and activities, and is due with your son/daughters camp packet.
